Why flat-rate beats commission-based platforms
A platform paid a percentage of your repairs profits when repairs cost more. 50RH is paid a flat rate, so every mechanism — sealed bids, your own contractors, on-the-record awards — works to bring your costs down.
| 50RH flat rate | Commission & referral platforms | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing | One flat rate for your whole portfolio — never a percentage of the repair | A cut of every job, or pay-per-lead fees that scale with your spending |
| Incentives | We earn the same whether a job costs $3,000 or $30,000 — the lowest qualified bid can win | Platform revenue grows when your repair costs grow |
| Bidding | Sealed bids — contractors never see competing amounts, so quotes stay honest | Open quotes and lead auctions that reward whoever pays the platform most |
| Contractors | Your own vetted contractor book — invited contractors bid free, no signup | Whoever bought placement in your search results |
| Records | Sealed-bid history, compliance status at award time, and an activity trail you can hand an owner | A receipt, if that |
| Users | Unlimited users, jobs, and invitations on every plan | Per-seat charges that tax your whole team |
Apply to help test sensor monitoring
The 50RH sensor is not a finished or generally available product. We're seeking a small group of property teams to help validate prototypes in real-world environments.
Still in development
The sensor enclosure, electronics, firmware, risk model, alerts, and dashboard experience are not final. Features and specifications may change during testing.
Limited and approval-only
We review each proposed property and test plan. Capacity is limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee selection or a deployment date.
Separate from checkout
Sensor hardware is not part of the regular online payment flow. Scope, costs, responsibilities, and beta terms are discussed directly after approval.
Think your property could be a good test environment?
Tell us about the property and the feedback your team can provide. We'll follow up only if there may be a fit.
Frequently asked questions
The bidding plan is a flat rate based on portfolio size: $149/month for up to 200 doors, $299/month for 201–500 doors, and portfolio pricing above 500 doors. Paying annually saves two months. The rate covers unlimited jobs, contractors, sealed bids, and users — 50RH never takes a percentage of your repair costs, and contractors always bid free.
A platform paid a percentage of job value earns more when your repairs cost more — its incentives run against yours. 50RH charges the same flat rate whether a job closes at $3,000 or $30,000, so sealed bidding, your own contractor book, and on-the-record awards all work purely to bring your costs down.
No. The bidding plan stands alone — post jobs, collect sealed bids, and keep defensible records without any hardware. The unfinished sensor beta is a separate, application-only program and is not required for bidding.
50RH reflects our mold-prevention focus: helping property teams recognize environmental risk and respond to moisture issues earlier.
No. The sensor hardware is an unfinished beta and is not generally available or sold through online checkout. Property teams can apply for a limited test placement, but every application is reviewed and approval is not guaranteed.
No. Hardware, firmware, readings, risk scores, alerts, and dashboard workflows are still being tested and may change. Beta output is experimental, does not detect or confirm mold, and should not replace inspection, professional judgment, or an approved safety system.
We review the property, proposed test environment, timing, and ability to provide feedback. If there is a fit and the placement is approved, we discuss test scope, responsibilities, costs, and terms directly before anything is scheduled.
